A hard day at work

Today I worked at home. See all the wires they are to the computer and my job is to keep them from getting loose. It's also to keep my owners feet from getting too cold. I also like to get in the way and jump around when they move. :)

Spent this weekend in a very rainy but warm Virginia Beach. It was a long 4 hour car ride but I have lots of space in the back of the Volvo station wagon. We went for a long walk on the concrete boardwalk at the beach...Far too many smells and too many dogs to pay attention to the actual ocean!

The photo below is from Monty's place at the beach. I was jumping up to get a brownie bite specially made for me. I don't beg really, it was a game.

Have a great week!

Almost the Weekend

Today was a bit drier and warmer than yesterday. I'm still recovering from several full days at the play camp this weekend. My owners treated me to a weekend at Happy Tails Dog Spa and I was very tired when I first got home. So many new friends to meet and play with as well as several comfy couches to lay on and lots and lots of kong toys to share with my friends.

I can't wait to return again.

A Wyatt Shepherd Retriever

These are my daily, monthly, or weekly thoughts. I am an australian shepherd/golden retreiver mix breed dog. My caretakers adopted me right before the Fourth of July 2003. The unique color of my fur is referred to as Blue Merle if I were "pure" as if any dog worth smelling is "pure."

The days go by with walks in the neighborhood, visits to other friends, laying on the couch, watching for the mailman and his cookies, and laying on the bed...you know laying on the bed is great. I can see all the people going to and fro on the street as well as all the neato trucks and cars. Everyday I let the other dogs know to look up and say hi while I tell them the news of the day. Oh eating is good, I live for the yummy chummies and pig ears.

Take a view of me as I grew up and got to this point.
